January 10 - NREL calls to inform Georgia Tech has been selected as one of twenty universities to participate in the 2007 Solar Decathlon.
The house has a series of "light walls" employing "light weight" polycarbonate technology with aerogel insulation that emits light, as well as structurally-insulated panels (SIPs) composed of expanded polystyrene insulation surfaced with "light gauge" metal.
